Nina Barnett
A 2024 graduate from Rose Bruford Acting College Foundation, Nina has recently been seen in the musical THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTTNAM SPELLING BEE COMPETITION at the Edinburgh Festival, with 5 star reviews.
Nina is Edinburgh born, grew up in Leith, and started her acting career early with a minor role at the age of 6 in the BAFTA award winning MURDER: JOINT ENTERPRISE directed by the late Birger Larson. She went on to have parts in the adaptation of the David Walliams book GRANDPA'S GREAT ESCAPE, as well as a Scottish BAFTA nominated production of THE STRANGE CASE OF DR JECKYLL AND MR HYDE.
More recently Nina played opposite Kōki and Jack Lowden with a part in the feature film TORNADO.
Nina is a keen dancer, singer and piano player, and an avid theatre goer, spending many years performing with various youth theatre companies, from ‘FCT’, Leith Academy productions and ‘Captivate’, as well as her first Shakespeare appearance as Sebastian in a Rose Bruford production of THE TEMPEST.
